Jill Krafts, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Welcome! My name is Jill Krafts. Since 2000, I have been helping adolescents and adults to improve their mood, manage stress, and feel more joyful about their lives. I have extensive experience in treating depression, and I have a specialty in treating anxiety, panic attacks, phobias, unwanted thoughts, and repetitive behaviors. I am direct and honest with my clients, and I focus on practical ways to solve problems. I also use humor as a powerful ally in helping people analyze and change their thoughts, feelings and behaviors. I primarily use Cognitive-Behavior Therapy (CBT), but I use other therapy approaches as well. It is important that my clients can identify progress from our work together. I grew up in Arizona and then came to the Bay Area to complete a Bachelor of Arts degree at Stanford University in psychology and communication. I then received my Master of Social Work degree at San Jose State University. I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2003. I worked in the Adult Psychiatry Department at Kaiser Santa Clara, providing individual and group therapy, and have been working in private practice providing therapy for the past 12 years. I live in San Jose with my husband, two children, and our dog.
Please contact me with any questions you may have or to schedule an appointment. And of course feel free to explore my website for more information.
